Andong soju is made of rice that has been distilled three times. It is made from a recipe handed down by a famous family in Andong,and is designated as N-Gyeongsang Province Intangible Cultural Property No 12. All equipment needed for making soju such as rings bottles and cups,together with Andongs traditional table set,are displayed at the Andong Soju factory exhibition hall. This all natural soju is similar to what might have been brewed in the home of a yangban official.
